The quilt block is best viewed from the East-bound entrance onto Rte. 78 at Rte. 637 (So. Main St.). It is on your right-hand side at the top of the entrance ramp.

Farm History:
Roy Dowling bought the farm and property in 1950. It was Bob Fry's Mother's homestead (the Isaac B. Hance Estate).
Barn History:
The barn was built about 1721; it was orginally used for dairy and food storage. It was also used to store the farm horses. Currently, it is used for beef cattle storage. The barn is constructed with wood, with a field stone foundation. Roy Dowling added on the left-hand portion of the barn in the 1950's.

sustainable heritage tourism attraction/activity while preserving and
celebrating the unique agriculture, history, and arts culture of our
area through visual combinations of barns and quilt designs, to educate
the public and showcase our Garden State.
